Welcome 2018!

Our goldfish pond… Now that our region is in the deep freeze of wintertime, the air pump in the pond  keeps a small area  ice-free for the exchange of gases with the atmosphere (for the fish) The pond  is frequented by wildlife that live in,or visit our backyard, because everyone still needs to be able to drink.   Look at all the little footprints!

This is just a short post to wish you a Happy New Year.

As I thought about this past year, and the one to come,  the thing that stood out to me is whether or not we as individuals made resolutions for 2017, and whether or not we kept, or attempted to keep those resolutions, with each new year that we are still on this planet, we have yet another  chance to start anew.

“What lies behind us, and what lies ahead of us, are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

I’m still on a little hiatus, but I look forward to continuing the effort to make at least a small difference for the tube feeding community in this upcoming year with new posts, articles, ideas and resources.
