Blending tools

Still under construction. Thanks for your patience

If you are interested in blending your food, rather than using commercial formula, certain food preparation tools can make this a much easier goal to accomplish.

The website Real Food for Real People covers in depth virtually every aspect of creating blended meals for the tube.

Under the “How to Make Blended Meals” tab, I have posted a few of their videos, as watching someone else  do this can be a real help.

Some people are very passionate about the particular brand, or model of high speed blender they chose to use for blending food for the tube.  I am not one of them.  But, I don’t have any experience using a high speed blender other than the Blendtec (which I love!).

The best known are  the Blendtec and Vitamix. Both  have the capability to make blended tube meals with ease.  If you are looking to spend less than $200 for a new blender, blended meals can be created, but with more effort and more steps.

Instead of opting for less power in the interest of saving money, consider contacting Vitamix and/or Blendtec, and let them know your purpose for purchasing a high speed blender.  Both companies offer greatly discounted factory reconditioned blenders at a substantial savings for those who use one for medical necessity.

For Vitamix, call 1-800-848-2649 and ask the operator to speak to someone about a medical needs purchase. They will then transfer you to a service representative who will e-mail you the necessary forms and instructions. The Vitamix Medical Needs Program gives you a 25% discount on a reconditioned blender.

Both companies have outstanding warranty coverage for both new and rebuilt.

A blender is pretty much a must, but you will also need spatulas, measuring cups, a scale, and containers.

I will add content here, as soon as possible  Your patience is appreciated while I continue to build this website.
